Itinerary
1st Day: Arrival.
Upon arrival at Cairo Int. airport, our Representative will meet, assist and then transfer you to hotel by our A/c bus.
Overnight at hotel in Cairo.
2nd Day: Giza Pyramids / Sakkara.
After breakfast, a full day guided tour to Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara and Memphis. Then visit Papyrus, Perfume, Silver and Gold bazaars.
Back to hotel, dinner and overnight.
3rd Day: full tour Cairo.
After breakfast, a guided tour to Egyptian museum,
the Citadel, Mohamed Ali, Al-Azhar, El Hussein Mosques
and Khan El Khalili.
Back to hotel, dinner and overnight at hotel.
4th Day: Wadi el Rayan / Baharia.
After breakfast, early check out and departure at 6:00 am.
Heading to Siwa oasis, we drive on Cairo – Alex road until we reach Wadi el Natroun to visit 3 monasteries; St. Bishoay, Dir el Serian and the monastery of the Virgin Mary.
We drive back to paved road taking a shortcut of 125 K.M to Al Alamein, this historical city since the 2nd world war.
Visit the German Cemetery on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
After lunch, we drive along the coast line until Mersa Matrouh
(Swimming in the sea is available). Overnight at 4* hotel.
5th Day: Siwa.
After breakfast, we drive to Hammam Cleopatra for a good shower in the famous cave, made for Cleopatra queen of Egypt while she was waiting for her lover Antonym to arrive from Roma. We drive south west starting our oasis trip heading to Siwa oasis (450 k.m from Mersa Matrouh).
Lunch on the way to Siwa. We continue driving through the oasis until our camp in Beer Wahed (30 k.m).Off the road lies a beautiful lake surrounded with the sand dunes, full off wild ducks where we swim with them in this extra ordinary place.
Overnight camp.
6th Day: Siwa.
Drive back to the oasis to visit the temple of Amun (built by Alexander the great) overlooking the palm trees forests. Visit Shalli and Gebel el Maot (the mountain of dead).
Then we go to Fotnas island to enjoy lunch in this beautiful garden with a spring and a pool of sweet water in the middle surrounded with palm trees and lakes from all sides.
After lunch we drive back to our camp in Beer Wahed for overnight camp.
7th Day: Baharia.
Early morning wake up for breakfast, then a long drive cross the desert from Siwa to Baharia oasis 350 k.m north east from Siwa.
Lunch on the way, arrival at Baharia around 5 pm.
Drive to the white desert to see the impressive lime stone formation where the forces of erosion have created fantastic natural rocks which look like snow from distant view. Overnight camp.
8th Day: Baharia.
After breakfast, we drive back to Baharia to visit local museum. Then we go sightseeing through the oasis between the mud brick houses (A chance to visit Bedouins in their homes to discover how they live in this beautiful place). Visit Gable Aswad (the fabulous black mountain covered by volcanic rock).
Overnight at Baharia.
9th Day: Farafra.
After breakfast, drive to white desert and Farafra, then drive back to Cairo and check in hotel.
In the evening independent activities or join an optional tour (choose from Opt. list).
10th Day: Cairo.
After breakfast, free time for independent activities or join an
Optional tour (choose from Opt. list). Check out of hotel.
Transfer to Cairo Int. airport for your flight homeward.
