Itinerary
1st Day: Arrival at Abu Simbel.
Arrival at Abu Simbel to board the boat, lunch on board.
Visit to Abu Simbel temple of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari, symbol of the international campaign salvage of the Nubian monuments.
A welcome cocktail will be served, Compulsory sound and light show at Abu Simbel temple, followed by a candle light dinner on board and overnight.
2nd Day: Aswan.
For those who would like to watch the spectacular Sunrise at Abu Simbel, please enjoy an early morning visit to the temples.
Lunch is served while sailing to Kasr Ibrim. Arrival to kasr Ibrim, sole vestige of the distant past of Nubian in its original location. During the Pharaonic period this hill was dominated by a Citadel and throughout the medieval Era, the summit of the hill was dominated by a cathedral of which we can still admire some Roman arches.
Sail to Amada and a cocktail will be served on the top deck overlooking the lit temples of Amada. Overnight in Amada.
3rd Day: Amada (on board).
Visit the Temple of Amada from the 18th dynasty { built during the reign of Thohotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thohotomsis IV }, then visit the Hemi-Speos of Deir { dedicated by Ramses II to the rising sun }, then the Tomb of Penout and the viceroy of Nubians.
Relaxing afternoon sail to Wadi el Seboua.
Cocktail and overnight at Wadi el Seboua.
4th Day: Wadi el Seboua (on board the cruise).
In the morning, visit Wadi el Seboua. The temple of Wadi el Seboua { dedicated by Ramses II to the two Gods Amun Ra and Ra Harmakis }, then the Temple of Dakka { dedicated to the God Thot of divine wisdom, lord of times and science, master of literature }, then the Greco-Roman
temple of Maharakka.
Sail to Aswan and cross the Tropic of Cancer.
After lunch, Visit to Kalabasha temple with its Pharaonic aspect, remodeled into the Greco-roman style { dedicated to the God Mandoulis }, then visit the Hemi-Speos of Bait el Wali { erected by Ramses II in the beginning of high reign to honor the Goddess Isis }. Overnight in Aswan.
5th Day: Abu Simbel.
After breakfast, end of your cruise and disembarkation.
Transfer to Cairo Inter. airport for home departure.
